We wanted to (belatedly!) thank you and all your team for making our wedding reception so wonderful.

Gianni – you were fantastic! Always there to calm us down, give us great ideas, and help us choose the perfect wines. We had total confidence in you from our first meeting and you did not let us down.

Gary – your food is amazing! We had a fairly broad mix of diners and the feedback was consistent across the board ‘the best wedding food I have ever tasted’.

To the team – your service was exceptional. No one ever had an empty glass which was exactly what we wanted and there was no sitting around waiting for courses to arrive – you managed the timing perfectly.

We really cannot thank you enough and would thoroughly recommend you to anyone considering a reception or large party at the depot.

Time and time again we try to push ourselves to try somewhere new. We manage it occasionally, but somehow no where really compares for us. The Depot remains our true London favourite. It ticks all the boxes, so we're sorry to tell you, you're stuck with us!

I just wanted to drop you a line to thank your staff for making our family birthday a wonderful experience that we will all treasure.

From our very first enquiry we have been treated with warmth and respect and so I was not surprised to find a warm welcome today that immediately put us at ease.

I was particularly impressed that when one of my guests asked for soya milk the response was "we don't have any - but I'll go to Sainsburys to get some". That's service.

We are also a difficult group when we get together because the conversation always takes precedence over studying the menu - which can be very frustrating for busy restaurant staff, and we have some difficult-to-please diners among us. But though you were very busy, it felt like nothing was too much trouble and each of our requests was accommodated efficiently and with a smile.

It also common to find that with a large group the quality of dishes from the kitchen can suffer, or the delivery is too staggered for all to enjoy together. Not so today. The food was superb and delivered rapidly.

We were enjoying ourselves so much that the time passed quickly and we only began to leave some four hours after we arrived! Yet at no time did we feel hurried, and neither were we simply left alone.

If you were a new restaurant with a reputation to build I would expect the exceptional service we received, but it is very refreshing to see genuinely good, caring service from a restaurant that could easily rest on its laurels and drop its standards - so many restaurants do just that.

Hi Gianni

I would just like to thank you so much for helping me with my event, the baby shower, on the 6th November 2010. Everything was perfect - the service was excellent and friendly, the food was absolutely delicious (you will be seeing me again and again for the eggs Benedict!) and everybody couldn't believe what excellent value for money it was.

Please pass my thanks and compliments onto the team that worked on Saturday, especially the chefs.

You now have a very loyal customer and I don't think I will be the only one, all the ladies really had a great time.

My husband and I miss our fortnightly visits to the Depot these days; now we have a baby it's not quite so easy to get out. But that doesn't mean you're not on our radar. Tonight was a wonderful evening. Lovely to be remembered and lovely to see familiar faces and eat great food. Thank you so much.
