Telegraph – June 2016
Even without the dreamy Thameside setting, this is the sort of local that we all wish we had at the end of our road: a handsome, high-ceilinged Edwardian stableyard conversion near Barnes Bridge that is as suitable for midweek suppers as Sunday lunches and special occasions. Brasserie classics of the calf’s liver, fishcakes and tuna carpaccio ilk mix with more individual ideas such as grilled kippers with samphire or plaice goujons with oat-crusted smoked eel. The leafy river view through picture windows is the icing on the cake, especially at sunset.

“We had a great evening. Very tasty food. Good and affordable wine list too. Staff were attentive without being annoying. The tuna carpaccio was amazing.”
